There was no XS available at the store I was at and so I tried the small. It fits perfect at the hips but the waist is a gape which bothers me quite a bit. As much as it is cute, it’s not worth taking to the tailors.

Standing skirt only!!
So here’s the thing. The skirt is SUPER cute and it’s everything you need it to be - with the major exception that there is ZERO give. You will not be able to comfortably sit in this skirt as it doesn’t have the bend or even stretch I would say it needs to in order to just sit without feeling like it’s trying to cut off circulation to your legs 127 hours style (I know it was his arm but stop focusing on the details). Odd Sizing
The material feels a little thin but nice, but the sizing is so odd for me personally. My waist is small so there’s a HUGE gap, unwearable - but the hips fit perfectly. I got a size small. So I’d have to have it altered, not worth it for me
